Dan OglesDan Ogles received his Bachelor of Visual Arts degree from Georgia State University in 1979 and established his career as a graphic designer in the Atlanta area.

He gained experience by accepting a position at Macy's in the direct mail department and quickly learned layout and production of 4 color direct mail pieces.

Moving from retail, Dan was employed with Parrish Communications and later established his graphic design company, O.C.Graphics. During this time he developed his skills working with a Macintosh computer.

O.C. Graphics and Parrish Communications merged with the marketing and design firm Green Ink. During this time Dan produced fine company identity packages, many that were enhanced by using die-cuts, embossing and varnishes.

Dan then began working for ApaGrafix, Inc. ApaGrafix specializes in educational and promotional materials such as brochures, posters, direct mail postcards, presentation folders, web sites and newsletters for ophthalmologists. During this time Dan enhanced his skills on both the Mac and PC and learned much about medical procedures and diseases of the human eye. His position included designing and preparing the ApaGrafix exhibit for conventions and managing ApaGrafix during the time of conventions. Customer service on a daily basis was an important part of Dan's job that he enjoyed while working at ApaGrafix.

Dan also has worked as a prepress artist. He has experience with Heidelberg Prinect Signa Station 4.5, Prinect Printready Cockpit 4.5.1 and Meta Dimensions Plate System.
